Leading Edge's access to a reliable and extended network allows you to brand your own local access dial-up services to around 99% of the population of Australia, with end users being charged the cost of a local call only when dialing a 01983 prefix access number from anywhere in Australia.
Leading Edge's Dial-IP products are a true wholesale offering allowing Leading Edge to remain transparent to the end user, enabling you to brand the service as your own.
How Dial-IP Ports are Ordered
| Metro/Regional Ports | Provisioned on a per CCA basis, enabling end users within the same CCA to access the internet at the cost of a local call. |

| National Roaming Ports | Provisioned on a national basis, enabling end users to access the Internet from any of the 66 CCAs in Australia at the cost of a local call. |

| CBD Roaming Ports | A pool of shared ports provisioned across state capital city CCAs including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and Hobart. |
Optional functionalities
| Static IP Dial | End users can optionally receive static IP addresses. This is useful for end users that run their own mail or web servers. |

| L2TP Dial Ports | Selected end users can be tunneled via L2TP to a home gateway or LAC within the customer's network by dialing a dedicated number range. This gives the customer full control over all Layer 3 parameters (IP address etc) and allows them to supply their own bandwidth to these users. |
Business DSL
Leading Edges range of DSL products deliver your end users a broad selection of plans, all of which have business grade throughput levels, service levels and support. All Business DSL services are delivered via a dedicated L2TP Network Server and interconnect infrastructure, hence partitioning it from infrastructure used to support our residential DSL services.
Our range of business products are positioned to enable our customers to offer services into the SOHO, SME and corporate markets at cost competitive rates, whilst maintaining a network and service quality that business customers demand.
Residential DSL
Residential ADSL services are available Australia wide, in the more than 1,000 exchange areas capable of servicing more than 75% of Australian households.
Leading Edge is committed to providing a grade service capable of meeting the needs of both residential and SOHO users, with typical throughput of between 50% and 90% of the service line speed being achieved for the majority of time.
The product is inclusive of both the ADSL tail service and Internet access, with traffic able to be charged on either a flat rate, capped or usage based plans.
Services are contention based and use ADSL access tails capable of supporting the following service line speeds;
- 256Kbps / 64Kbps
- 512Kbps / 128Kbps
- 512kbps / 512kbps *
- 1.5Mbps / 256Kbps
- 1mbps / 1mbps *
